A community, not a course.
START Sprint is how you join START Barcelona. For three weeks you build your own project, alone or with others, next to people doing the same. There are workshops if you want them, a teambuilding weekend, and a public Demo Day at the end.
The goal is to ship something people can use. The real point is what comes after: you're part of START, with people who keep building with you long after Demo Day.
It's for people from any program: engineers, designers, creatives, business people. What matters is that you're curious and you show up.

After Demo Day you're part of START Barcelona and the whole START network. Keep building your project, start new ones with people you met, run events, help organise START Hack. Whatever you want to do, you have a real community to do it with.

- 5–7 Nov Interviews Thu and Fri late afternoon or evening, Saturday all day.
- Sun 8 Nov Onboarding Day Meet the rest of your batch.
- Week of 9 Nov Build week 1 Workshop: problem exploration and prototyping.
- Week of 16 Nov Build week 2 Workshop: value proposition, getting users and iterating. Plus the teambuilding weekend.
- Week of 23 Nov Build week 3 Workshop: business model and pitching, with a visit to a VC.
- Week of 30 Nov Extra build week Optional. Polish the project and practise your pitch.
- Mon 7 Dec Demo Day Public. The top projects pitch to a jury of investors and founders.

Questions.
Do I need an idea?
No. Come with an idea, a half-idea or nothing at all. You can also join someone else's project.
Can I join with a team?
Yes. You can build alone or in a team.
How much time does it take?
Block half a day once a week for the workshop. Beyond that it's up to you: the more you put in, the more you get out.
Does it cost anything?
Membership is 20€.
What language is it in?
English. The community is a real mix, from Catalans to people from all over the world.
Who can apply?
Students and young professionals in Barcelona from any program, aged 16 or over. If you are 16 or 17 you need parental consent.
What happens after the Sprint?
You pick what you want to work on next with the community: your own startup, organising START Hack, a mentoring program, a study trip and more.
The more you put in, the more you get out.
